    Therefore, 67 - (16 + X) = 42
    X = 9

    Therefore,
    
    67 - 16 = 42 + X
    
    => 51 = 42 + X
    
    => X + 42 = 51
    
    => X = 51 - 42
    
    => X = 9
    
    So,
    
    67 - 16 = 42 + 9
