That is quite impossible to provide that huge number of people within such short period of time....  moreSounds great to hear such a praiseworthy initiative taken by Bangladesh Government. More than 5 million people lives without house throughout the country. That is quite impossible to provide that huge number of people within such short period of time. And, the arable lands are gradually decreasing. This project may solve the housing issue related to these people. But the other human needs won't be fulfilled by this. From my perspective, some more steps should be taken by the government to help the people to stand in their feet so that they don't need to depend on others.
    
    1. Education is the foremost weapon because none can snatch it away from you. The other resources decrease day by day. But knowledge increases everyday. Necessary programs for educating the young generation should be taken to build a resourceful country.
    
    2. Technical education should be provided to the unskilled people so that they can contribute to the economy of our country.

Because, this project gives house to the landless, homeless, shelterless people which gives them roof over their head. So, they don't have to pass night under the...  moreI believe Asrayan project will help the lower income people to stand on their own feet. Because, this project gives house to the landless, homeless, shelterless people which gives them roof over their head. So, they don't have to pass night under the open sky. When their accommodation becomes secure, they can focus on their daily livlihood only.
    Besides that,under Asrayan project these people receive technical and practical training and also soft loan which makes them skilled people and help them to income money. This project also gives them some land for mosque, pond.
    If this project gives some land for cultivating and for keeping household aninals then these people could raise their animals and also cultivate vegetables. Asrayan project can make their life better then before.  less

The project is supposed to provide jobs to unemployed people and a shelter for the homeless ones. The Asrayan project will surely help so many poor families to get out of extreme poverty. Once they get their own land, they will begin to grow corn, rice, or vegetables on it and hopefully start earning their own income without borrowing any money from loan sharks. The landless people will also not have to pay rental anymore as this kind of initiative may give them a chance in life!
    
    I also believe, to make this project more successful and let them be independent, these people need to be trained to manage money better. Although they do not have a lot of money, they can save at least some amount regularly with good management. This will help their families to start saving money on a regular basis. It can even be invested in some small businesses.  less

I must appreciate but in the meantime, I also admit that it is a small picture. In a report, it has been shown that the govt. is being able to provide shelter for only 7%. The rest of them are behind the screen. So, if the target is to provide shelter for everyone then I must say it's not up to the level. It was one side of the topic which is not discussed most of the time. Let's have a look at the people who have got the facility. Now, how much they will improve it's all up to them. I admit that Asrayan Project is giving a great facility but it's not enough. Why? Because the only shelter can't improve their standard. So, as a result, their standard of living will remain the same. And believe me, it will be the most horrifying part of the project when no output will come. But where there are problems there are solutions also. I am sharing one of them.

    Again, the previous year we have earned 19.8 billion dollars as a remittance.
    
    Each of these earnings is increasing our GDP and standard of living. But please stop. That's only for a few people. It's quite disappointing that more than 60% are not aware of that. In this situation, it's quite clear that what should we do. Yeah, as it is an era of information. Our main focus should be on increasing the skill. Because, this skill can create manpower. And we will be able to send more workers to the foreign which will lead to more remittance. Also, it will create a huge chance to earn from freelancing also. In a nutshell, shelter can only give you a way to live, but skill can improve the way of living.  less

More than 50% of the cost is on housing cost. 17.4 million people are now living in a road. Government only meets the 7% of the homeless people. If govt provide all the homeless people to home, then the slum o the city will be decreased, that will be a plus point for all off the people. Moreover, now-a-days people are coming from villages and they are now pulling rickshaw. It's a huge disadvantage for our harvest production. So it's a great initiative work for govt to take such a step.  less

Most of the poor people who do not have their own house, have to live in a rent house. A great percentage of their income is spent in paying the rent. So, they hardly can afford healthy food, treatment and education. They cannot save any money for their future. Their children are often deprived from education and healthy food. Education is the only way to uplift their poor situation but they are hardly getting it. But for this Asrayan Project, these lower income people are getting a house and land of their own. They don’t need to pay for house rent. They can use that money to purchase other basic needs. They have a secure place and savings now. Even they can start their own small domestic business to get some extra money. Asrayan Project is not only securing their shelter but also the future of their children.  less

Undoubtedly the Ashrayan project is an outstanding initiative, but a piece of land, a house, is not enough to fulfill all their needs. Besides home, if the government could ensure them a job, that could help them settle in their lives. Many of them might have lived on their house rent which is gone so far, so their livelihood. So it's more important, if the government could take another project side by side to ensure them a good source of income, it could strengthen their position.
    1.The efficient people can be used for cultivation side by side they can be provided agricultural education. More projects can be taken to encourage them to cultivate. ❝Rhidoye Mati O Manush❞ was a great initiative; more opportunities like these can be taken.
    2.They can be hired for construction projects under observation, or more industries can be built up to provide opportunities.
    3.Vocational training can solve this problem hugely.

    5.Women need to give more time to their families. So if some professional training can be provided like sewing or crafting, they could earn staying at home.
    7.Children can't be used for earning money, but they should be encouraged to contribute to the welfare of society. They can be rewarded for planting or cleaning community.  less

The rehabilitated families are receiving several training on serious issues and human resources development for engaging themselves in income generation activities. As the shelter problem is now solved, they can use that shelter cost to pay micro loan if any of them have taken. Moreover, they can save this money and can use it in cultivating fish, raising poultry and farming. Besides, they can use the money to educate the children as education helps reducing the poverty. Also, this project aims at alleviating poverty, by accelerating the way of fulfilling the ''Vision 21''.Thus, I think this project will help lower-income group people to stand on their own feet.  less

    Now his monthly cost gets decreasing due to he does not commit paid of rent the house.
    His savings are increasing. His12 years old son has got off from child work. He wants to continue his educational life again.
    Mr Shaharul is thinking, his son will be well educated and will not suffer an economic recession in his future life.
    While I was talking to Mr Shaharul, I saw confidence in his voice to stand on his own feet that's why I strongly believe that the Narayan project will be successful.
    The future generation of landless people will be the most benefited.  less

This project gives shelter to homeless people, those people were barely surviving before they got a house from this project. Now they can stay focus on their daily livelihood. The project has been going economic vulnerability of many homeless families by providing them with shelters and necessary financial assistance to rebuild their life. As the project now targets the impoverished people of the whole country, by aiding them to build their shelter with a means of income generation can also check the displacement of people from one place to another. Beside that this project provided necessary training to them and revolving interest-free micro-credit to enhance income generating activities to improve their livelihoods and make them self-reliant. With this they can start a small business or cultivate their own food and keeping household pet. This project surely a blessing to those people like Rahim Miah.  less

So, ''The Asrayan project'' is a development project which aims at providing homes for the homeless and gradually making them self-dependent to contribute to the national economy. This project will help lower-income group people to some extent but government support is needed to achieve this to the fullest, such as,
    
    1.Setting priority for ensuring to access good jobs for lower-income group people.
    
    2.Providing Microloans can be beneficial to the landless people who want to start a new business. If the business increases, it will also create more employment opportunities for others.  less
