But, the socio-economic conditions of women in Bangladesh have improved considerably over the period. The progress can be seen in several social indicators such as education, health, and empowerment. This is a reflection of the increased participation of women in the labor force. There are some job sections where women participation can be seen significantly such as,
1.Intensive export-oriented garment sector
2.micro-finance for empowering
3.non-traditional and emerging sectors, such as hotels and restaurants, telecommunications, banking, and insurance sectors, etc.

As a result, women get paid extremely low according to the work. On the other hand, men get highly paid for the same work. In the end, It can be said that as women's participation is raising, they are contributing to the country's economy to some extent whereas men are contributing to the greater extent because of their larger participation along with higher remuneration.

Nowadays, we can see women are working in different sectors, it is not only stopped in participation rather they are specialized on each sector. Loads of women entrepreneurs are carrying on their own business which helped other women to serve and opened their earning source. Urban females are more educated than rural areas but if we have a look at the homemade products or handmade products, most of these are made by them which helps us to earn a lot of foreign currency and that's why the GDP growth rate is going higher day by day. Definitely, it is very good news for us which also enlightened other deprived women. It helps them to understand that they can be also an earning member of their family which will eradicate the miserable lives of their family.... less

According to this index, FLFP of Bangladesh has increased by a lot because in 2008, it was merely 16 percent and now it is 21 percent. This change can be attributed to women's increasing awareness about their role as well as an increase in access of education and job opportunities for them.
The 2011 World Development Report from the World Bank estimates that if half of all unemployed youth were put into jobs tomorrow, global gross domestic product would increase by more than $2 trillion over the next five years—equal to more than 10% of global GDP!
As a result of women empowerment in job sector in Bangladesh, there is an increase in women contribution to household income. In addition, it improves women's bargaining power within their families which is particularly important in promoting the health and education of children. less

Without the participation of this huge population in the job sector, it wouldn't be possible for Bangladesh to be enlisted as a developing country. The largest contribution of women in economy is in the RMG sector (among 4 million workers, 70% of them are women), & we know 12% of the GDP is contributed by this sector. Though most of the contribution of women in the agriculture (in homestead production,post-harvest production, livestock rearing etc.) is as unpaid labor, still this adds huge value to the economy. Day by day, the participation of women in the high quality services is increasing which will also help breaking the taboo of women refrained from economic activities. less

According to a research by The Asia Foundation its seen that from 1999/2000 to 2016/2017 the number of female workforce has increased from 8.6 million to 19.9 million which is more than twice & this is largely due to the increased literacy rate of women which stands at 71.95% & safety of women in job sector. The rise in women workforce is also due to Introduction of programmes like Microfinance from NGO’s like BRAC & others. Women have also made home workstations such as product selling online so they can work from home. As a result of all these the income per capita of the country has risen as the population becomes more productive. This led to the standard of life to go up hill where as poverty has gone downhill. As a result of all these the country has become more stable in terms of economy. In the end it must be said that undoubtedly rise of women in job sector has lead to huge impacts in our economy but we still have a long way to go, but till then নারীদের অধিকারে গাইব❤ less
