    Sourav Chowhan First of all this, I want to say that all are an example of a scientific phenomenon called Friction.
    Friction is the resistance to motion of one object moving relative to another.
    1. Jacob didn't drive that four-wheel car that much so the tire is not...  moreFirst of all this, I want to say that all are an example of a scientific phenomenon called Friction.
    Friction is the resistance to motion of one object moving relative to another.
    1. Jacob didn't drive that four-wheel car that much so the tire is not flat there are some edges which is giving him a grip to drove in that snow. Also, the area of contact between a rubber block and an ice surface is bigger and we know that a bigger surface means a lot of friction. That's why Jacob safely drove that car, If the tire of Jacob were flat then the friction will low and he will not able to drove that car safely.
    
    2.The second phenomenon is happening because those shoes don't have that much grip on that slippery road. The friction area is too small and all the weight is centered on the shoes. So Jacob is slipping on ice. when he is trying to walk on that icy road, it keeps slip because the friction is too low so the friction is not enough to hold him, so he fell on the ground. you will be surprised if you know...    less

So when Jacob did rub hands he was pushing his hands back and forth to increase the friction of hands. When he was rubbing his hands he gives some energy and it was transforming to head and sound due to friction. Rubbing hands produce sounds if you haven't noticed try now. So that was the physics rule playing out there.
    
    You can also put some oil and try to rub then heat and the sound will be decreased because the friction is decreased also.
    I guess I exceed the word limits. Sorry for that, it was like a flow of words from my brain. I could do this all day long. Because I love physics.  less

    At first, when it comes to winter driving, the law of physics is most applicable which is Newton’s first law of motion called “ The law of intertia”. It states: “An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force “. On road dry, the friction of the wheels allow changes in speed and direction. But during winter, when the roads are covered with snow or ice, the coefficient of friction is substantially reduced. But, four wheels with good grip improves traction on icy roads. While driving on slippery surface, it's drive system send power to all 4 wheels to maintain traction. Here, friction between the surface and tires creates and maintains grip. For this reason, Jacob's four wheel car was very helpful for driving.  less

    Thirdly , when Jacob started rubbing his hands, his hands become warm because of the friction of the two hands. This friction happens when the resistance of one object rubbing Against the other. So, when there is more friction, the more heat produces.

    In this story, the laws or concepts are how gravity works and it is what kept him on Earth. There was also conservation of small energy because his hands warmed up due to rubbing them together. Finally, there is Kilometers per hour conversion (KPH). In physics, Kph can be used as a metric unit for speed which is why he drove at 25 kilometers per hour. This was calculated using the distance traveled divided by the time taken to travel said distance. It turns out you need Physics knowledge for many things!  less

    Rubbing hands generates uneven heats due to the “Surface friction” of hand skins. There is no equilibrium heat (generated) at the initial phase. Thus the “Zeroth law of Thermodynamics” cannot work. But at a time gaining equilibrium heat on the skin, the law implicates, and he doesn’t feel the increasing temperature (meanwhile he got his nerves).

If Jacob drove a motorcycle, then it would be more tough to drive it. 3. As the car engine gave the vehicle force to accelerate forward, Netwon's law of motion was applicable there. 4.Cause of slipping in the snow was the lack of grip on the shoe. Netwon's third law was applicable there. He put force upon the ice and the ice gave him the opposite resultant force back. But for lacking grip, his shoe slipped. 5. His hand got warm after rubbing because the kinetic energy after rubbing transformed into heat energy. It is mentionable that, the law conservation of energy was applicable throughout the time. 6. The camera could capture the picture because of containing lense and perfect focal length.  less

"His four-wheel drive car was very helpful to drive in that weather as it's tires had very good grip on the icy and slippery roads." - Referring with the laws of physics and breaking down how the mechanism of how Jacob's four wheeler is quite a better option for driving it over icy surface as while driving a vehicle, the engine generates a force on the driving wheels. This force initiates the vehicle to move forwards. Friction is the force that opposes the tyre rubber from sliding on the road surface. This friction avoids skidding of vehicles. The tread on a tire effects in a higher friction on the road than if the tire was smooth, this allows drivers to have greater control over the movement of their car which allows friction to occur at the maximum potential of the tire, which prevents the car from skidding and losing control.  less

Based on the analysis so far, that suggests that Jacob won’t be able to slow down, speed up, or change direction while on ice which is definitely true. When Jacob has sufficient friction, it’s able to slow the foot down to a stop almost immediately, allowing him to put his weight on it, but on an icy surface, the friction doesn’t kick in, and his foot slips out from under him.  less

    Jacob's shoes slipped because uppermost ice layer contains thin water layer on it.Deeper ice layers stick to each other well but upper layers are very loose as they always remain in contact with air.While walking, jacob's shoes rubbed on ice that caused friction.Friction created heat and heat helped to melt the ice which made it more slippery.

    1) Situation-1, Jacob’s car could travel the road despite the road was slippery. This happened as the tires had enough grooves to increase friction. Friction increases due to rough surface, so the tires could make a firm grip on the road and prevent slipping. But if the tires hadn’t enough groove it could felt due to the smooth icy road.
    
    2) 2nd situation where Jacob slipped on the ground due to wearing regular shoes. Although static friction occurred it wasn’t enough to stop slipping as the shoes of Jacob didn’t have enough grip to increase friction.
    
    3) We can see in the 3rd situation that through rubbing his palms together, Jacob felt warm on both palms. This occurred due to sliding friction. The molecules in the palms of Jacob’s started moving quickly. Static electricity was produced due to the sliding friction. Thus this static electricity converted into heat energy. So friction is the root of this.  less

First of all, it can be noticed that surface of the ice is slippery. So in order to prevent skidding, the tire of the car had a grooved pattern moulded into the rubber surface and are properly inflated which increases the amount of friction force acting on the car and so the car can move smoothly through the ice. Secondly, it is quite good to mention that normal shoes are not built to create a lot of frictional force, so as the ice is slippery, due to less frictional force, Mr Jacob slips.
    In order to prevent slipping on ice, ice boots have quite a good surface that can create a lot of friction with the ice, preventing the user of the boots from sleeping. Thirdly, rubbing hands is also an example of friction.     On the ice, there are
    unstable water molecules that are weakly bonded to the crystal. When Jacob
    walked on ice, the molecules began to move freely. His shoes had not enough
    friction point to grip in ice. As a result, his foot did not get enough static
    friction force to hold him in place & he slipped.

    Jacob’s hands came in contact & move relative to each
    other; the friction between the two hand surfaces converts kinetic energy into
    thermal energy. Thermal energy made his hand wormer and made it safe from being
