Cobra, mamba, viper, rattlesnake and many other venomous snakes send chill down our spine. Needless to say, their venom is deadly when injected! Love them or hate them, they always get our attention. Even though their venom can be deadly and kill a human, it may also help save lives! We already know that venomous snakes go through a milking process in which their venom is collected in a container and freeze dried. Their venom is later injected into an animal in small amounts. The animal then produces antibody to neutralize this venom. This antibody is later collected and finally prepped to be used by humans as antivenom. But other than making antivenom, snake's venom can help us in many other ways. If you were a scientist, how would you use snake venom in a modern and creative way to bring change in this world! Please give us your brief answer by writing your comments below. The person who answers this riddle most creatively will get $3!  less

But if we can extract and use some amount of it, we can get their properties and make desired drug from it.....
Venom thus can be used in pharmaceutical companies to make drugs, in laboratories as diagnostic tool of diseases and in medical researches also. For example, its cytotoxic properties can be used to treat tumors, neurotoxic property to seizures and so on.  less

Their venom can be used for many things, apart from anti-venom. The venom is a complex mixture of many neurotoxins, mycotoxins, and hemotoxins. If I became a scientist, I will use it for the following: 1. Make snake repellent for protection 2. Use it as an insecticide 3. Control the population of pests like mice and rats 4. Make our body capable of producing anti-venom by genetic engineering, and 5. Make artificial anti-venom.

Different components of snake venom have different target cell thats why it can be used as chemotherapeutic agent to kill specific tumor cell. Every year many people die getting bitten by snakes or other venomous animals, and the number is ignored. If i could make snake venom vaccine, people of dangered area could be vaccinated beforehand and have a safe life.

On the other hand, this snake venom can give you life. The first venom based drug used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Beside that, this could use for other diseases like strok, cancer or heart diseases. Another thing is, as snake venom's primary component is protein. If it doesn’t inject or absorb into the body tissue, it won't be harmful. This protein based toxins could break down by stomach. If I were a scientist, then I would make tablets for cancer patients with snake venom's protein. This protein based tablets would attack the cancer affected tissues and destroy them. This venom's protein also could use as narcotics for operational patients.  less

Snake venom is a term that covers a wide array of different venoms. Some kill quickly while others take time.
Most snakes deliver their poison through fangs that operate in a similar method to a syringe. Once the fang has pierced their victims flesh, the poison is delivered through the tooth and directly into the prey’s bloodstream. The exceptions to this are snakes who spit their venom, like the Mozambique spitting cobra (Naja mossambica).
Since there is such a variety in the venoms, the potential medical applications differ from snake to snake. Coronary medical conditions are a field where solutions involving toxins taken from snakes are currently employed.
“Snake venoms served as templates for some of the top medicines used in high blood pressure, heart failure, and heart attack,” explains Takacs.
“The source of the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor class of medicines, the Jararaca pit viper snake (Bothrops jararaca), arguably has saved more human lives than any other animal in...    less

      Part -1

Snake venom is of 2 types
1.Hemotoxin 2.Neurotoxin The proteins in snake venom has been utilized to treat
numerous conditions A toxin gotten from the venom of saw-scaled viper fills in
as drug tirofiban, utilized in the treatment of myocardial localized necrosis.
The venom keeps blood from thickening, and this can be tackled for
anticoagulant drugs. Creating drugs from snake venom takes a ton of time and
exertion . First, various ingredients inside snake venom are isolated
permitting researchers to test and recognize those with helpful clinical
applications. e.g a few ingredients may be able to square pain,if I am a
scientist then I could attempt to build up a manufactured adaptation of the
compound. The compound is tried in little dosages on creatures. At long last,
we can make a variant of the drug for people and afterward we can test it
ensuring it's sheltered. When we are certain, we can put it available. "It
takes seven to 25 years to develop a drug once you recognize a toxin"  less

cardiovascular breakdown and even kidney infection brought about by diabetes.
It was the first compelling oral ACE inhibitor and its heritage of resulting
advancements in this drug bunch has assisted with dealing with the blood
weights of a huge number of individuals. Captopril drug treats hypertension,
and this originates from bothrops jararaca; the venom of a dangerous viper. It
is said that a small dosage of Venom from the Malayan Pit Viper is good for
treating stroke related blood clots and keep new clots from framing. The
neurotoxins in venom is use to treat mind wounds a few models are strokes,
alzheimer's, and parkinson's sickness. Their are additionally medication gotten
from hemotoxins which are found in snake venom that treats respiratory failures
and blood issues. you ought not give a dosage of this to yourself without the
assistance of a wellbeing proficient.  less

Snake venom also plays a central role in medical history. Each venomous organism produces thousands of different proteins giving access to millions of different molecules that still have potential uses.
In this way, toxic venomous poisons may be a starting point for a therapeutic drug. Scientists can use this snake venom to develop new drugs to treat illnesses. In fact, the proteins in snake venom have been used to treat many conditions.  less

      The use of snake venom:

      Many kind
of animals live in our world. Some of them are calm & some are violent.
Snakes are very scary animals. Cobra, mamba, viper are most dangerous snakes in
our world. Their venom is very poisonous. Good things can be found in bad
things if you know where to look. Not only is snake venom poisonous but we can
make venom something good with snake venom. We can make many medicines with
snake venom. We already know that human heart medicine is being made with the
venom. It’s the most successful medicine. Anti-Venom is made from snake venom
so that if a person is bitten by a snake, the effect of snake venom can be
removed with anti-venom. Snake venom is being used to make cancer drugs.
Chemotherapy is being made with snake venom to treat cancer. Chemotherapy which
saves thousands of lives around the world every year is actually made from
snake’s venom. Poisonous venom that can take a life in less than a second can
also save a life. All credit goes to science & technology...    less

Snake venom is as deadly as it is life-saving. Some special medicines are made with snake venom. If I were a scientist I use this
deadly venom to stop the reproduction of Covid-19 . Although no effective vaccine has been developed yet , it should be tried once. it reacts directly to blood cells. In my opinion, snake venom attacks blood cells as well as
coronavirus which is a bundle of RNA covered with protein envelopes and has a protein-containing outer layer in which protein spikes attach the virus to human blood cells. If snake venom protein molecules can be used to protect blood cells, the virus may prevent reproduction. This may require a lot of
research, but in my opinion, this is how the world can be changed with the
      venom of deadly snakes  less

But researcher's somehow found their way out to use snake venom for the welfare of the humankind. It's a massive win for us in the field of medical science and bio-chemistry. But if we look at the compounds of snake venom, we can find some very interesting compounds which can be used to make some revolutionary effect on some growing sectors of modern world. Researching on snake venom, you can see that there is an enzyme called Phospholipase A2 which is common in all species of snake. We all have heard about biodiesel. One of the obstacles of biodiesel production is overuse of food which can create food scarcity in the world. In this case, Phospholipase A2 can be very much useful for enzymatic biodiesel production. Moreover, another compound called Factor-X activator can be used in developing diagnostic kit for research. There are also some other compounds too. So in a word, my target is to get something out of snake venom not just...    less
