"When you sit with a nice girl for two hours you think it’s only a minute, but when you sit on a hot stove for a minute you think it’s two hours. That’s relativity."- Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein's face is probably one of the most popular faces in the world. To most us, he is a scientist or physicist. In fact, he probably looks like that typical scientist with a messy hair look in the movies. But what exactly is he known for? E=mc2 is all that comes to mind when he think of him!
Therefore, for the next Coolinventor project, we are asking our contributors to explain the theory for which Einstein is famous for - the General Theory of Relativity! So please write a wiki in our Coolinventor Wiki section about Einstein's Theory of Relativity. Your wiki needs to have just the 2 following sections!
1) What is Einstein's General or Special Theory of Relativity?
2) Give two examples of how this theory applies to you!
That's it!
We know an easy solution is to copy these answers from Google or Wikipedia and be done with it, right? Actually NO, this project's challenge is to see who can describe this concept in super easy and SIMPLE terms. Many of us have read about this theory online, but the challenging part of this theory is it may be difficult to understand. Therefore, your job is to describe this theory in simple terms using good metaphor. The base fee for this project is $5, but a $10 additional BONUS will be given to the person who can accurately describe this theory with good practical examples and metaphors, so even a middle school student can understand! As Einstein himself said 'If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough'!
Additional Tips:
- Bring in E=mc2 equation if needed to explain the theory. That will be a BONUS if you can explain this equation with good examples!
-Add your Coolinventor.com profile link at the end of the wiki, so
viewers know you
- No plagiarized or copyrighted work please! If we find any plagiarism in
your wiki content writing, then your payment will be cancelled and
your work will not be promoted.
- We need at least 85% plagiarism free content to give you full payment
amount. Otherwise, payment may be reduced or cancelled. We use
our own tool to check for plagiarism in articles. So, please try to keep
your write up original!
- There is no word limit. Please keep it short and to the point without
making the readers bored. Try to keep it interesting with good sense
of humor in your stories!
- Try to add lots and lots of pictures for visuals and demonstrations
- For pictures, that you are getting from online, please try to reference
them (where you took them from) to avoid copyright issues
- Here is a sample wiki from one of our contributors and you can follow
this format:
