But it’s not possible so quickly. So, the procedure should be running as well as our Govt. can give them food, protection, education, sanitation with the help of international agencies. Govt also starts relocating them which will reduce pressure on certain forest land. They did huge destruction of forest lands by making shelter and destruction is continued because of collecting fuelwood. So if we reduce fuelwood problem by providing biogas or fuelwood substitution actions through coordination of various aid agencies, our forest will get protection. Besides forest department can do plantation programme like social forestry where the refugees will participate. Fast growing species should be planted as if they can get benefit earlier and then they will be interested on tree plantation. Fruit trees can be planted and... less

But it can not possible now because of some political issues. Our government should have taken proper steps to solve the problem so that the Rohingya can return to their own villages and get proper rights.
(2) The Rohingya peoples are now located in the forest areas of Bangladesh and they destroyed the forest. They cut the trees for making their shelter. They collect fuel wood from the forest. So for saving the forest areas government should take proper step. Here government can take "Benefit sharing approach" for planting trees. If the Rohingya people's get benefits they plant trees and maintain the trees also. Here proper training and encouragement is needed for planting trees and maintaining the trees. less

So it's confirm they'll stay there until the problem solved totally. Rohingyas fuel problem can be solved only by the help of foreign NGO's. They are supporting Rohingyas from all aspect. in India. The local people alongside Sundarbans are completely dependent on this forest for their livelihood. They cut trees, catching fish, collecting honey, harvesting Golpata, etc. Above some of the work they are doing illegally. The main challenge is to improve their lives without degrading the Sundarbans if we will plan sustainably. Although economic gains are important, ecological and environmental issues must be considered in long-term development plans. The Sundarbans mangroves region is a UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization World Heritage Site, a Ramsar site, and a Class 3 tiger conservation landscape of global priority. If the local people will work jointly with the tourism board, some people will get a job like; tourist guide, driver guard, etc. They can accommodate tourists as well as provide some... less

So, they are highly dependent on forest. And the main reasons of this dependency are the mono-cropping characteristics of their agriculture, low literacy rate, lack of awareness, lack of facilities etc.
So, Govt. And other agencies Should focus on their education, sanitation and other facilities. As most of them are farmer and do fish farming can practice different agroforestry systems but for this, more researches should be done to ensure which crops, trees grow well in these areas because salinity is a big problem here. And obviously sustainable dams need to be built so that tidal water does not reach the locality.
If they get their needs which they get from Sundarbans, our forest will be safe. And those projects harm Sundarbans, they should be stopped. Besides Eco-tourism can be a safe way for economic... less
