If you’re using a knife to peel a potato or carrot, the dull knife can stop on an irregular surface, forcing you to use excessive pressure to get past it. If the knife blade suddenly slips, you’re likely to cut yourself as it suddenly speeds up.
Dull blades make cutting meats harder and make you use extra force to cut through any tougher part of the meat. Once it cuts through and can move easily, quite often you’ll cut your other hand when the blade moves quickly due to the force you’re using.

But a blunt knife will create laceration which will create irregular edges in the wound creating a risk of infection. According to physics, we know that a unit of force (1 newton) applied to a unit area (1 meter squared) perpendicularly will create 1-pascal pressure. The formula being P=F/A (n/m^2). So, the more we apply pressure to the handle of the knife, the more the pressure is in a smaller surface area. This makes the point of contact of the vegetables precise and allows swift and clean cutting. Whereas the blunt knife having a larger surface area, won't have the same penetrating force which will result in a twisting force called torque. So the knife will rotate and cause injuries to the hand. less

P=F/A
where, P= applied pressure on the object
F= force applied on the object
A= the area of the object where pressure is applied
Let's consider in above circumstances, adam applied the same amount of force on the carrot he was cutting with both the sharp and blunt knife. His ease of cutting will be dependent on whether the area of applied force is lesser than the other or not. Now, with common sense, we can easily understand that the sharp one has a lesser area of pressure than the blunt one because the edge is much narrower. So, more pressure will be put on using the sharper one.
The risk of using a blunt knife is that it may slip the vegetable adam is cutting and may severely injure his hand. We don't want any harm to be done to this nice fellow. That's why his instructor advised him to use a shape knife in order to cut them with ease and safety while taking less time. less

Adam tried to cut the carrots using a blunt knife. He couldn't do that in brunoise cut and he almost cut his hand. His teacher mentioned that the sharp knife is efficient to cut any food. If you try to cut a cucumber using a blunt knife it would require you to exert more strength/force. The knife may slip if the sharp end is too thick. Whereas if you use a sharp knife you can efficiently do that by exerting less strength/force
This is because of the force and the surface area. The surface area of the sharp end of a blunt knife is more than that of a sharp knife. We get from pascals law that Pressure is inversely proportional to the surface area. So if you apply the same amount of force for both the knife, the sharp knife would be more efficient. So sharper knife is safer in cutting food... less

So he has to apply force in the knife which makes the pressure cut the Carrots. Here another physics term arises that is cutting Area of the knife. With all of these things, we can get a relation from physics that is Force=Pressure/Area
Here we can see that Force is inversely proportional to Area . This means that if Area is increasing then Force will decreasing & similarly if the Area is decreasing then the Force will increasing with the proportion to each other.
To cut the Carrots properly Adam had to give more pressure when he used the dull knife. Because the dull knife’s cutting area is more than the sharp knife. Moreover while giving more pressure for dull knife it might be slipped and cut his hand. As cutting Area of the sharp knife is less. So he had to give less pressure & did his work nicely and more safely. less

The elementary mathematical expression for pressure is giving by ,
P = F/A
Here, P is the pressure , F is the force acting perpendicular to the surface to which this force is applied and A is the area of the surface .
The same force applied by a sharp knife with a smaller area of contact will exerts a much greater pressure than a blunt knife having a considerable larger area of contact .
Once a blunt knife is through the object (vegetable or other food), there is a greater chance for the pressure to lead to slippage, skidding and injury. Adam was trying to cut the foods with a blunt knife, so the area of the knife-edge was massive and that's why he needed to give more pressure and the chopped won't be nice because he wanted to chop the vegetable in small dices. But it won't be possible with Dull or a Flat knife. less

But if he had used the sharp knife where the edge so sharp and it can go through anything. P=F/A
where, P= applied pressure on the object

So he had to give less pressure & did his work nicely and more safely. less

The elementary mathematical expression for pressure is giving by ,
P = F/A
Here, P is the pressure , F is the force acting perpendicular to the surface to which this force is applied and A is the area of the surface .
A sharp knife can cut using the edge of the e knife with a safer slicing. Rather, cuts from sharper knives can actually heal more easily than those from dull knives. According to the equation, force is directly proportional to pressure. A blunt knife has more area around the cutting edge than a sharp knife. So a blunt knife requires more pressure for the same amount of force to be exerted, as the pressure applied increases the chances of the knife slipping and cutting Adam's hand increases. bringing the sharp knife to rest is easier than blunt one. If you slip, sharp

Friction is the resistance to motion of one object moving relative to another.
1. Jacob didn't drive that four-wheel car that much so the tire is not flat there are some edges which is giving him a grip to drove in that snow. Also, the area of contact between a rubber block and an ice surface is bigger and we know that a bigger surface means a lot of friction. That's why Jacob safely drove that car, If the tire of Jacob were flat then the friction will low and he will not able to drove that car safely.
2.The second phenomenon is happening because those shoes don't have that much grip on that slippery road. The friction area is too small and all the weight is centered on the shoes. 3. the last phenomenon is also an example of friction but there is something you need to know is "energy". Energy can't be destroyed but it can transform one form to another. So when Jacob did rub hands he was pushing his hands back and forth to increase the friction of hands. When he was rubbing his hands he gives some energy and it was transforming to head and sound due to friction. Rubbing hands produce sounds if you haven't noticed try now. So that was the physics rule playing out there.
You can also put some oil and try to rub then heat and the sound will be decreased because the friction is decreased also.

At first, when it comes to winter driving, the law of physics is most applicable which is Newton’s first law of motion called “ The law of intertia”. It states: “An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force “. On road dry, the friction of the wheels allow changes in speed and direction. But during winter, when the roads are covered with snow or ice, the coefficient of friction is substantially reduced. But, four wheels with good grip improves traction on icy roads. While driving on slippery surface, it's drive system send power to all 4 wheels to maintain traction. Here, friction between the surface and tires creates and maintains grip. For this reason, Jacob's four wheel car was very helpful for driving. less

Here, I have explained a few acts of Jacob during his visit to a cold climate and his acts carried a few generalizations of physics. "His four-wheel drive car was very helpful to drive in that weather as it's tires had very good grip on the icy and slippery roads." - Referring with the laws of physics and breaking down how the mechanism of how Jacob's four wheeler is quite a better option for driving it over icy surface as while driving a vehicle, the engine generates a force on the driving wheels. This force initiates the vehicle to move forwards. Friction is the force that opposes the tyre rubber from sliding on the road surface. This friction avoids skidding of vehicles. The tread on a tire effects in a higher friction on the road than if the tire was smooth, this allows drivers to have greater control over the movement of their car which allows friction to occur at the maximum potential of the tire, which prevents the car from skidding and losing control. less

"As soon as he started walking on the icy road, his shoes slipped and he fell on the ground." - Next here portraying Jacob's fall through an explanation of physics would be when Jacob was on an icy surface, though basically he don’t have any friction. Based on the analysis so far, that suggests that Jacob won’t be able to slow down, speed up, or change direction while on ice which is definitely true. 1) Situation-1, Jacob’s car could travel the road despite the road was slippery. This happened as the tires had enough grooves to increase friction. Friction increases due to rough surface, so the tires could make a firm grip on the road and prevent slipping. But if the tires hadn’t enough groove it could felt due to the smooth icy road.
2) 2nd situation where Jacob slipped on the ground due to wearing regular shoes. Although static friction occurred it wasn’t enough to stop slipping as the shoes of Jacob didn’t have enough grip to increase friction.
3) We can see in the 3rd situation that through rubbing his palms together, Jacob felt warm on both palms. This occurred due to sliding friction. The molecules in the palms of Jacob’s started moving quickly. Static electricity was produced due to the sliding friction. Thus this static electricity converted into heat energy. So friction is the root of this. less

First of all, it can be noticed that surface of the ice is slippery. So in order to prevent skidding, the tire of the car had a grooved pattern moulded into the rubber surface and are properly inflated which increases the amount of friction force acting on the car and so the car can move smoothly through the ice. is so slippery and doesn’t have enough grips. Jacob’s Car was useful there; it
gives power to all 4 wheels at the same time. With the help of heavy car
weight, those 4 tires made 4 friction points. The more friction it made, the
more grip the car got. He might use frictional tires for getting more grips. In
consequence of that, he moved easily.
2.
On the ice, there are
unstable water molecules that are weakly bonded to the crystal. When Jacob
walked on ice, the molecules began to move freely. His shoes had not enough
friction point to grip in ice. As a result, his foot did not get enough static
friction force to hold him in place & he slipped.
3.
Jacob’s hands came in contact & move relative to each

thermal energy. Thermal energy made his hand wormer and made it safe from being

If our research team collects soil samples from different parts of Bangladesh and separates the zones based on the soil composition and identifies the zones, then the farmers will be able to identify the right land for their crops and cultivate at a higher level. less

Automation in the farming: What if there was also a robot that automatically seeds, waters, weeds, and harvests your plants? That’d be cool, right? It’s just one way technology can be used for farming. A good example is the FarmBot but It’s still in its infancy, but the technology promises to achieve a level of efficiency in food production that a human could never reach.but its ia matter of sorrow that it is not available in our country
Artificial Intelligence in farming :Remote sensors, satellites, and UAVs can gather information 24 hours per day over an entire field. The idea is to allow farmers to gain a better understanding of the situation on the ground through advanced technology (such as remote sensing) that can tell them more about their situation than they can see with the naked eye. And not just more accurately but also more quickly... less

Agro-ecological concepts are primarily based on traditional and local knowledge, and its corresponding cultures. Agroecology combines this knowledge with the findings and methods of modern science. Agroecology is both a science and a set of practices. It was created by the convergence of two scientific disciplines: agronomy and ecology.
The strength of agroecology lies in the combination of ecological, biological, and agricultural sciences, along with medicine, nutritional and social sciences. It incorporates the knowledge of all stakeholders. Original source Their practical contribution to solving complex problems with the help of locally available resources is crucial. We can merge them and give them opportunity to resell in our New app. This is how we can give farmers their fair price of vegetable and full-fill the demand of gardeners. less

Combining knowledge and making time to apply those at right time is almost impossible. I wish there would be some technology where there would be a place for planting. I could fix the manual (the time and amount of watering, amount of light etc) or just by adding the plant name informations could be set from a mobile app or website. The rest care would be done with the help of sensors. That system need to be capable of sensing the light and open or close a hood anytime. Hood will have different filtering capacity to pass perfect light. It will also be able to generate light that is lacking.Again, it would sense soil humidity and could water the plant itself from attatched water supply. The machine should be able to have multiple input so that at a time, number of different plants could be handled. In this method, plants with similar manual need to be planted together. less

Indoor vertical farming can increase crop yields, overcome limited land area, and even reduce farming’s impact on the environment by cutting down distance traveled in the supply chain. Indoor vertical farming can be defined as the practice of growing produce stacked one above another in a closed and controlled environment. We can also use RFID technology. Information like humidity, water level, moisture can be displayed on a web
site. Based on the information a level of instructions can be displayed. For
example : if the water level decreases, the web site will tell you to water the
specific regions. This will help save a lot of water if used in a large scale. To
make the technology environment friendly, we can connect the nodes to battery
packs connected by a solar panel. The sensors itself requires a lot less energy

It’s kind of research work where they have to get some analysis results. These includes analyzing about soil, insects, weather, seasonal problems, uses of different farming machine etc. But these research work hardly serves the farmers. Because the implementation of those analytical study is not applied properly in agricultural/horticultural sectors. My solution for above mentioned problem is to provide a timely analytical report for specific soil, for
specific crops, for specific season, for specific weather etc. to the farmers

2. Spreading soil testing labs locally. Even small labs can be set up in vehicles to go to distant places.
A farmer will get his soil sample tested from the nearest lab. He will enter his soil properties and environmental properties to the database through its API-generated mobile app, and the database will suggest the most suitable crop of highest market value according to his condition.

The immune system of one developed nation is different from other one for their food habit. May be people from one country are practiced with fruits, fiber rich foods for their daily life, but people from another country are practiced with carbohydrate rich foods, junk foods & less fruits. This virus can cause deaths only with the people having less antibody & weak immune system. Another thing is the environment. We know, researchers have identified 198 mutations in a survey conducted by University College London in the United Kingdom. This huge amount of mutations are creating these different situations.
Now we think about coronavirus testing rate, then we see, South Korea has done successfully is to isolate everyone who is potentially affected and everyone involved with that person through the maximum use of technology. The biggest issue, in this case, is testing. South Korea, because of their testing capabilities, has put all potentials under testing in such a way that they do not have to launch lockdowns like other countries. less

Germany has been testing the disease at a massive rate since the beginning of the epidemic, so they have been able to identify people with or without symptoms. While the rest of Europe, especially Italy, Spain, the USA, and the United Kingdom, have not tested extensively since the beginning, they have been testing people with obvious symptoms at one time due to virus spread across the country and due to limitations. This is why the actual number of victims is much higher than the total number of victims in Italy, Spain, or the United Kingdom. We know from the beginning that there are silent carriers of the novel coronavirus, among which no symptoms are seen, so many of the victims are excluded from the test due to testing restrictions or policies in different countries. So we see different deaths in different countries due to the number of tests and the actual number of victims.

Researchers found that the Asian, European, American and Russian strains coexist regarding the attack in any particular region or country. It is also observed that the mutation in one country or region is different from that of other countries. This all bacause of immunity system and environment.
